Tulane’s inaugural Creative Jam celebrates the intersection of

digital literacy and storytelling. 

Free, one-day workshops for the Tulane community to

  • Collaborate with your peers and Adobe to develop digital literacy skills
  • Create projects that integrate storytelling and multimedia tools like Adobe Express and Premiere Rush
  • Compete to showcase your ideas and win prizes.

Participate in the inaugural event

Join us in person or virtually on November 2 for a celebration of Tulane’s designation as Louisiana’s first “Adobe Creative Campus. The Creative Jam will host free, live workshops on Adobe Express and Premier Rush to students and employees across all disciplines and working sessions to refine your new skills and collaborate with peer mentors. These easy-to-use creative tools will transform your academic, professional, or personal ideas into creative, meaningful digital media–improving your digital literacy skills and enhancing your experience at Tulane and your portfolio beyond. All participants must register before attending a workshop. Day-of-event registration is welcome and lunch will be provided to in person participants. Please use your own devices (computer, tablet, or smartphone) in order to participate fully in the workshop. We will not provie devices to participants.

Win prizes in our student competition

Students can compete inour Creative Jam competition to win prizes like

  • JBL Flip Speaker
  • Beats byDre Studio Buds
  • Fujifilm Insant Film Camera

Submissions must consist of a video of a video or other multimedia project created using only Adobe Express or Premiere Rush, and embodies Tulane’s motto: Not for oneself but for one’s own. Tulane faculty and staff judges will evaluate projects and select winners in two submission categories – group and individual.

Submissions are due no later than 11:59pm on November 17, 2023 via the Creative Jam Canvas course. Find details there!

Adobe Creative Campuses

Adobe has designated Tulane as a Creative Campus, the first in Louisiana. As a Creative Campus, all students, faculty, and staff can access Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) with their Tulane credentials. This program fosters digital literacy education for Tulanians across all disciplines by providing accessible, secure digital creative platforms to communicate and share ideas, innovations, and work, academically and professionally. Students, educators, and staff members may also access Adobe’s learning library, including workshops, self-paced courses, training, and more.
