When using the Turning Technologies QT clicker, some students experience a spinning arrow after submitting responses rather than a checkmark confirmation. The spinning arrow may be caused by a QT clicker that is not using the right receiver channel or has became un-paired with the proper channel.
To resolve this issue:
- First, attempt to re-pair the channel — even if it is already displaying channel 41. Press the “CH” channel button and manually enter channel 41 using the keypad.
- If that does not work, the next step is a hard reset on the device itself. To hard reset, open the battery cage and remove the batteries. Next, press every button on the QT clicker. Then, replace the batteries and press any button the device to activate the clicker.
